| Job Description | To provide expert advice to the Training Manager on various methodologies for employee training, recommending the most efficient and effective methods and procedures for use in company project. To provide HR/Training support to line managers for the effective coaching and training(including on-the-job) of the human resources allocated to them. To ensure that the Company complies with its training obligations, effectively managing its relevant annual budget. • Contributing to the development of company training policies and procedures; • Developing and maintaining contacts with training providers, both local and international; • Conducting training needs analysis on staff training requirements across the entire Company; • Working closely with line managers on training needs and staff development plans; • Preparing the training plans in accordance with the operational and organisational requirements, to ensure that the national personnel acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and work experience; • Analysing the training results, identifying trends and advising the Training Manager and line managers accordingly; • Ensuring proper maintenance of training records and preparation of all statutory and ad-hoc reports for both third party and internal use. Developing, consolidating, monitoring and controlling the Annual Training Budget. |
| Qualifications | University education, with at least 15 years experience working in a large international petroleum company(ies) of which 10 years should have been in the Human Resources/Training function managing large recruitment and training projects.Managerial and organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to apply industrial training and development principles. • Speaker of English language. • Ability to plan, manage and implement complex projects |
